In this week’s Pick 6, we pick the biggest games in the biggest weekend in College Football and the games in the NFL.
Alabama at LSU
The big game of the weekend is in Baton Rouge, LA between #1 Alabama versus #5 LSU. The rankings might be close, but this game won’t be. LSU has regressed since last year’s title game defeat to Alabama and The Tide has just been rolling along. LSU doesn’t have an offense and the defense hasn’t been the dominating force that it was last year. I don’t see this game being close.
Alabama wins 24-6
Oregon at USC
This was suppose to be the big weekend in the college football season. The talk all preseason was that the weekend of November 3rd would be a huge weekend in college football. Now it seems that every analyst is assuming both teams that are higher ranked will just walk through each of their opponents this week. I don’t see that in this game. This is the first real opponent Oregon has played all year and I think they will get punched in the mouth and these starters who haven’t played as much will face a tough task. I see an upset in the Coliseum.
USC wins 35-31
Oklahoma State at Kansas State
Kansas State is on a roll and so is the Cowboys. The Cowboys have only 1 loss in the Big 12. Now they haven’t played Oklahoma, West Virginia, or Texas Tech so we will see how much better the Cowboys are. I think the Wildcats are focused and will take care of business today.
Kansas State wins 41-21
Texas A&M at Mississippi State
This is a huge game in the SEC West. Mississippi State is coming off an embarrassing defeat in Tuscaloosa, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t a good team. Texas A&M is coming off a huge win in Auburn, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t a bad team. I think the line is way too high in favor of the Aggies and I will go with the “upset” with the higher ranked Mississippi State team.
Mississippi State wins 24-21
Cowboys at Falcons
The Falcons are undefeated but they have struggled to get to that mark. The Cowboys love to grab defeat from the jaws of victory. The Cowboys aren’t as bad as their 3-4 record indicates. I think the Falcons will come out strong against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football and take control at first. Then the Cowboys will make you believe by taking a small lead in the 3rd quarter, then blow it and I will then throw my remote at the wall and buy a new one after the defeat by the Falcons. I just can’t quit you Cowboys.
Falcons win 28-25
Steelers at Giants
The Giants will have the city of New York on their backs after Hurricane Sandy ripped through the city. The Giants are on a roll, losing only 1 game since losing on Opening night. The Giants will be playing with a ton of emotions and I think the Giants win big at home.
Giants win 31-14
