In a shocking twist on what seemed like a light day of action in college football to begin the day had a night cap that saved the entire day. Kansas State came into the game against Baylor number 1 in the country, Collin Klein on the cover of Sports Illustrated and the talk of college football. Baylor was at 4-5 and was staring down a potential losing season. That has now changed and Baylor shocks the college football world. This not only affects the BCS race but this will also affect the Big 12 race.

Oklahoma State beat up on Texas Tech which was shocking as well. But Texas Tech has been collapsing since the Kansas State game.

Iowa State handled their business in Lawrence, Kansas by beating the Jayhawks 51-23. Sam Richardson went 23-27 for 250 yards and Iowa State scored 4 straight touchdowns in the second quarter to put the game away.

Oklahoma should roll West Virginia right? Not quite. Oklahoma and West Virginia played in a shootout with Oklahoma winning 50-49 in Morgantown, WV. Tavon Austin had 572 all purpose yards which is now a Big 12 record. Landry Jones threw for 554 yards and 6 touchdowns in the game and survived an upset scare.
