Every college football season always has some craziness involved with it. Whether it is BCS madness or figuring out a tiebreaker to who wins a conference. Not surprisingly the Longhorns have a legitimate shot at a Big 12 title. So how does Texas accomplish this?

To Win A Share Of The Big 12:

Win Out and an Oklahoma loss- If the Texas Longhorns win out and Oklahoma losses, they will win at least a share of the Big 12 title.

To Win The BCS Automatic Bid.

The Easiest Path

- Win Out AND Oklahoma State and TCU beats Oklahoma

That would make a 3 way tie between Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Texas. Oklahoma State would be eliminated because they lost to Texas and Kansas State. Then it comes down to head to head results and Texas beating Kansas State would give them the edge.

The Most Likely Path.

Win Out And Oklahoma State beats OU.

If Oklahoma State beats OU, that creates a 4 way tie for the Big 12. Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Texas. Then it goes to records against each other:

Texas (2-1)

Kansas State (2-1)

Oklahoma (1-2)

Oklahoma State (1-2)

Since Texas would have the head to head tiebreaker against Kansas State, they would go to the Fiesta Bowl.
