Texas Longhorns Will Play Oregon State In Alamo Bowl.

The Texas Longhorns will play the Oregon State Beavers in the Valero Alamo Bowl on December 29th in San Antonio, Texas at 5:45pm central time. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN.

The Oregon State Beavers are coming off of a 77-3 beating of Nichollis State, a game that was rescheduled due to Hurricane Issac. The Beavers finished the season at 9-3 with losses to Oregon, Stanford and Washington. The Beavers finished 3rd in the Pac-12 behind the Stanford Cardinal and the Oregon Ducks. This was a bounce back year for the Beavers, going 3-9 last year to 9-3 this year.

The Texas Longhorns finished the season 8-4 with losses to TCU, Kansas State, Oklahoma, and West Virginia. The Longhorns finished 3rd in the Big 12, behind Oklahoma and Kansas State. The Longhorns are coming into the Alamo Bowl with two straight losses looking for positive momentum towards the 2013 season.
