Longhorn Targets that are off the Board.

- Offensive Lineman Caleb Benenoch, who formerly had the Texas Longhorns on top, has committed to the UCLA Bruins Caleb announced today. The Katy, Texas (Seven Lakes) prospect was believed to be heading to Austin but as the season progressed, Caleb felt that Texas wasn’t right for him.

“It surprised me a little bit since, for a long time, it was about me trying to see what schools could compete with Texas. But the more I looked at it and the vibe I got, it just wasn’t where I wanted to be.” Said Caleb Benenoch.

Caleb insists that he told the Longhorns staff that he wasn’t interested in the Texas Longhorns and not what has been rumored that the Longhorns started to back off from pursuing Caleb.

Former Longhorns commitment Ricky Seals-Jones (Sealy, TX) has committed to Texas A&M. Ricky Seals-Jones (known as RSJ) decommitted from the Longhorns in June after committing to them in February. In a stunning move, the Longhorns ended their recruitment for RSJ in September and pulled his offer. That was quite puzzling for me and now the Aggies are cashing in on their momentum.
