The Big 12 is now complete with their bowl season, it’s time for the Final Big 12 Rankings of the 2012 season.

10. Kansas Jayhawks

They have a top 10 college basketball team, again. Can’t have everything in this world.

9. Iowa State

Iowa State always has a team that is well coached, but with no offensive identity this team with never get over the 6-6 hump.

8. West Virginia

During a season, there are good times to play a team and bad times to play a team. Texas played West Virginia at a bad time. Nothing you can do about that, but next year I expect the Longhorns to go into Morgantown and get a victory.

7. Texas Tech

I think Kliff Kingsbury will be a great coach, but how the season ended for the Red Raiders was disappointing. Jumping out to a 6-1 record and then only winning two games down the stretch, one in overtime to Kansas and losing your coach to Cincinnati.

6. TCU

Their defense is national championship caliber, but the offense needs work in the offseason. But if Casey Pachall comes back, they could contend for a Big 12 title.

5. Oklahoma State

They don’t get a ton of credit for beating a bad Purdue team but that offense is ridiculous. Too bad they can’t ever get a good defense that is when they would strike more fear in me.
