Analysis: Alabama is clearly the best team the last 4 years. 5 losses the last 4 years. What they have been doing in Tuscaloosa is impressive. Hats off to them. After that. Oregon and the Aggies have looked the most impressive this bowl season. But after the top 14, it’s a very weak field. I put Texas at 16 because they had the best win out of those teams. Texas has to improve the offensive line if they want to compete for a BCS bowl. Penn State, Baylor and Oklahoma State round out the Top 25, two of them with impressive bowl wins. Hopefully in 2013, there is more depth in college football than this year.
