Flanagan’s Thoughts On Texas’s Win Over TCU

The Texas Longhorns beat the TCU Horned Frogs 60-43 in an epic battle to see who wasn’t the worst team in the Big 12. Although both sides fought valiantly, the Longhorns prevailed. Here are some thoughts on the game.

- I would of like to see at what score they put the over/under at for this game. 103 total points for the entire game is bad but we knew that coming into the game. I am just shocked how bad it was.

- Sheldon McClellan had another big game. 15 points in 30 minutes of action. I would like him to take 15 shots a game but he doesn’t  seem to want to do that. He needs to have more confidence and try to become a 18 points per game player.

- 4 players had 3 assists in this game which accounted for all the assists in the game. Texas also had 10 turnovers. So a positive assist to turnover ratio to look at for this team.

- I know I shouldn’t get ahead of myself but I think this team can win at West Virginia and then they get Oklahoma State at home. If they can win both, they get Myck Kabongo back and who knows what can happen with this team. Baby steps though, baby steps.
