The NFL has invited 3 draft eligible Texas Exes to the NFL Draft Combine. Those 3 lucky players are Alex Okafor, Kenny Vaccaro, and Marquise Goodwin. All will be in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 20th for the start of the NFL Combine. For the complete list, Click Here

My Take:

Kenny Vaccaro and Alex Okafor were not a surprise. Marwuise Goodwin was a little bit of a surprise. Now two notable names are missing and that is Brandon Moore and DJ Monroe. DJ Monroe has speed but he will have to show up on Texas Pro Day and show scouts that speed and maybe a team will take him late in the draft or sign him to an undrafted free agent contract. Brandon Moore still puzzles me. He would of added much needed experience on the defensive line for the 2013 season and he just decides to declare for the NFL draft. Some speculated this move to make room for A’shawn Robinson who now is with Alabama. He should of stayed with the Longhorns.
