Nebraska had a tough time with their pitching the entire game. Starter Christian DeLeon went 6 innings as well, but gave up 2 earned runs and faced 25 batters. Reliever Aaron Bummer was a bummer on the mound with the only 2 batters he faced all game, he walked them. Dylan Vogt got the first batter Taylor Snell out on a ground ball in the 9th inning. Then Erich Weiss hit a double with one out. Then Nebraska intentionally walked Mark Payton to set up the potential double play. C.J Hinojosa hit the ball up the middle and Erich Weiss used his speed to score the game winning run.

The Longhorns will play the Cornhuskers tomorrow at noon at UFCU Disch-Falk Field for the series finale.
