On Sunday morning, Marquise Goodwin ran a 4.25 40 yard dash on his first attempt at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. That tied Tavon Austin’s first attempt at 4.25 but on Tavon Austin’s second attempt, he ran a 4.31 while Marquise ran a 4.29 so on average 40 time, Marquise Goodwin was the fastest receiver at the NFL Scouting Combine. Here are tweets on Marquise Goodwin:
Marquise Goodwin runs 4.29 unofficial 40yd dash on second run. Hit 23.7mph at one point. Tavon Austin hit 21.2mph. Think Goodwin taking it.

Texas WR Marquise Goodwin clocks 4.25, tying Austin. A track athlete.

As we reported yesterday, Marquise Goodwin’s goal was to beat the NFL Combine record of 4.24 set by Chris Johnson in 2008. He might of gotten that but it looks like he will fall just short of that record. But the good news for him is that run solidifies him going in the first 3 rounds of the NFL Draft.
