Each week, The Stampede will recap the development in recruiting for the Texas Longhorns.

- A surprise visitor on Thursday was 5 star Leonard Fournette. Here is a tweet he sent out on Thursday:

No one has really caught up with Leonard Fournette as he isn’t talking to the media but the rumor is he really enjoyed his visit and might be looking to visit in the fall on an official visit. I would still put the LSU Tigers out in front here. (Chris Flanagan)

- This past weekend was insane in terms of how many commitments happened. 6 commitments in 4 days. Here are the articles from those commitments:

#2 For 2015

Jalen Campbell commits to the Texas Longhorns

Jake McMillon commits to the Texas Longhorns

Also not included in those links were the commitments of Kendal Yancy-Harris (basketball) and Terrell Cuney committing to the Longhorns on Saturday afternoon.

Obviously it was a big weekend for the Texas Longhorns with all the commitments that Texas got this past weekend.

- An interesting picture from Instagram from Plano, Texas running back Soso Jamabo. Soso has offers from Ohio State and Oklahoma among many others. I would be shocked if this prospect doesn’t become a Longhorn. If you would like to see his highlight film, click here. (Chris Flanagan)

- Texas City (TX) wide receiver Armani Foreman has decommitted from Oklahoma and has opened up his recruitment. He is going to the Texas A&M spring game this weekend. He has offers from Texas, Texas A&M and Florida. If the Longhorns could get his commitment, that would be huge for the Longhorns. (Chris Flanagan)

- The Texas Men’s Golf team got a huge commitment from the #1 men’s golf recruit Scottie Scheffler from Dallas, Texas. This isn’t a shock but he will likely be a one and done like Jordan Spieth but he is just as talented to bring home a title for Texas golf. (Chris Flanagan)
