In anticipation of the 2013 NFL Draft, Hook’em Headlines is taking a look back at the past 5 NFL Drafts and the former Longhorns selected in those drafts. Today we will breakdown the Texas Longhorns selected in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Texas Longhorns drafted in the 2011 NFL Draft

Aaron Williams (2nd Round; 34th overall)

Curtis Brown (3rd Round; 95th overall)

Sam Acho (4th Round; 102nd overall)

Chykie Brown (5th Round; 164th overall)

Best Player:

Aaron Williams

Aaron Williams plays strong safety for the Buffalo Bills. This was a close call between him and Sam Acho (more on him in a bit) for the top overall player in the Texas Longhorns 2011 NFL Draft and since he was drafted higher, I went with Aaron Williams. He is a very solid strong safety for the Bills and it seems like he is getting better at the position.
