The Texas Longhorns begin the 2013 football season on Saturday, it’s time for our season prediction. Here is our predictions of games 7-9.

at TCU

The Longhorns play 3 games total in October. It’s definitely going to be a long month and whatever happens against OU in Dallas, the Longhorns will have to hear about it for 2 weeks. They end up traveling back to the Metroplex but this time it’s to play TCU. I think the Longhorns exact some revenge and take down the Horned Frogs

Texas wins 31-21

Kansas

Do I have to give an explanation for this? Texas struggles AT Kansas. When Kansas goes to DKR, they never stand a chance. Texas rolls

Texas wins 42-10

at West Virginia

Another revenge game for the Texas Longhorns. West Virginia played it’s best game of the year against the Longhorns and then collapsed. At the time, it looked like a good loss and instead turned into a bad loss. The Longhorns have to exact revenge against the Mountaineers. Now it will be cold in Morgantown in November. I don’t like the Longhorns in cold weather (see last year’s Kansas game). Do I smell an upset? Not quite but I sense a very close game.

Texas wins 35-31.
