Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com has reported that Manny Diaz has been fired as the defensive coordinator for the Texas Longhorns. Here is his tweet:
http://t.co/TuILYGfSJV has learned Mack Brown fired Manny Diaz as defensive coordinator, one day after Texas gave up 550 yds rushing to BYU.

Chip Brown is also reporting that Greg Robinson will be taking over as defensive coordinator. He was the Texas defensive coordinator for the 2004 Texas Longhorns who went 11-1. The 2004 Texas Longhorns defense only gave up 30+ points twice the entire season.
Lipstick on a pig.
Once again, Mack Brown passes the buck instead of realizing that he just doesn’t have it anymore. This isn’t good enough anymore. There has to be seismic change for things to get better for the Longhorns. That means he must step down or be fired. This is just the beginning. You don’t lose games like you did last night at Texas and it happens consistently under Mack Brown. Mack Brown has lost everyone, his time is up.
