The Texas Longhorns are beginning Big 12 conference play this Saturday against the Kansas State Wildcats. Here is a preview of the Kansas State Wildcats.

Who To Watch:

John Hubert and Daniel Sams.

The Longhorns can’t stop the zone read option. Daniel Sams is a great running quarterback and John Hubert is a good running back. Bill Snyder will run the zone read over and over again until Texas proves they can stop it. I doubt they can but hopeful they have learned some discipline.

What to expect:

I expect the Wildcats to control the clock. Not that don’t have confidence in their ability to move the ball against the Texas defense, but to keep the Longhorns off the field. It was announced by Texas that David Ash would be at practice on Wednesday. Now, this doesn’t mean David Ash will play but if he does, the Wildcats would want to keep David Ash on the sidelines.
