Texas Longhorns lose Teuhema brothers to LSU

The Texas defensive line took a hit when three-star DE Sione Teuhema flipped his commitment from the Longhorns to LSU, per Max Olson with ESPN.

The real effect of Teuhema committing to LSU will be felt in the 2015 class, where Sione’s brother Maea was a pledge to Texas. The brothers plan to attend college together, meaning Texas will lose out on a five-star lineman ranked as the top 2015 prospect in the state by Rivals.

The brothers had been solid commitments to Texas since May. Things began to unravel when Sione took official visits to Oklahoma State and LSU. His brother traveled with him to LSU, where apparently Les Miles and his staff made a favorable impression on the brothers.

National Signing Day is less than 24 hours away and it looks like it will be a roller coaster ride leading up the big day.
