The Texas Longhorns basketball team received some good news on the injury front. Junior forward Jonathan Holmes will return to action tonight.

Holmes missed the Oklahoma State game following an injury to his knee against Kansas State. He practiced this week before being cleared to play late this afternoon. Holmes is averaging 13.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

Texas (19-5, 8-3 Big 12) had no problem handling Oklahoma State without Holmes. The next opponent, however, is one of the hotter Big 12 schools at the moment. West Virginia (15-10, 7-5 Big 12) has won four of five in a stretch that has seen the Mountaineers beat #21 Oklahoma and #11 Iowa State. Junior guard Juwan Staten leads West Virginia with 18.3 points and 6.0 assists per game.

Tip-off is at 7:00 PM CT at the Frank Erwin Special Events Center.
