There is legitimate fear that Rick Barnes’ team has hit the wall as they head into their rematch with Kansas. However, the Longhorns so out-played the Jayhawks in their first matchup of the year that there’s some cause for optimism.
Someone found and scanned part of a game program that compared the depth of Texas’ 1968 and 1963 offensive lines. As most of you are aware, the Longhorns won the national championship in ’63 and did so again the year after this was printed.
Texas already landed two defensive back commitments for the 2015 class. However, with other schools sniffing around Jalen Campbell and Johnny Shaw, Charlie Strong and his coaching staff would be wise to pursue backup options in case one or both decide to bolt.
