BON’s Wescott Eberts reads Joe Bergeron’s denial as a “non-denial” of sorts, but I find it difficult to believe Bergeron would leave right before his senior year. Unless of course he’s already received his degree (thus allowing him to transfer without missing a year), it’s a little late for a change of scenery.
In full disclosure, I found JFF’s Instagram message to be pretty humorous. Longhorns fans should hope that Charlie Strong takes the rib poking in stride.
The “big move” referenced in the title is the physical relocation to Austin. In the words of soon-to-be Longhorns quarterback Jerrod Heard, “June 3… it’s showtime.”
Because there’s no timetable for a decision, Max Wittek’s commitment could come at any time before summer practice. The fact that Wittek decided to take a second look at Austin heavily suggests that Texas is the favorite to win his services.
