The nation’s top ranked 2021 high school athlete is going to get a ton of focus from blue bloods coast-to-coast. Five-star Steilacoom High School product Emeka Egbuka is really starting to rack up the Power Five schools on his growing offer sheet. Texas football is part of the more than 25 offers that Egbuka holds.

It seems like the offers are to continue rolling in for Egbuka too since he isn’t slowing down the momentum this off-season. The showings for him at The Opening and Under Armour showcases were special and proved that he belongs among the nation’s top ranked prospects for this cycle.

At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Egbuka brings solid size, but he’s not overwhelming physically. He could play on either side of the ball. Wide receiver is likely to be a natural fit for him. He could also play in the secondary for whichever program he ultimately announces his commitment to.

You can’t help but think that Egbuka is going to hold a similar recruitment and path early in his collegiate career to the Longhorns 2019 five-star signee athlete Bru McCoy. Since McCoy had a similar physical profile and was the nation’s top ranked 2019 athlete hailing from the West Coast, there are a host of similarities to draw here.
