A very common landing spot for former Longhorns out of the transfer portal is with head coach Sonny Dykes and the SMU Mustangs out of the American Athletic Conference. SMU took on numerous former Longhorns out of the portal, such as former star quarterback Shane Buechele and kicker Chris Naggar.
If SMU is seeking out more help from the transfer portal, this time to fill a depth need in the trenches, then Bimage could be a good option.
