This Houston-area product looks to be trending more to the Longhorns in-state rival on the recruiting trail Texas A&M Aggies and head coach Jimbo Fisher as we move deeper into the offseason.

Moreover, Perkins ranks as the nation’s No. 14 2022 high school prospect, top overall outside linebacker, and No. 4 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 18 high school prospect, top overall outside linebacker, and No. 4 prospect out of Texas.

Texas A&M also currently has a key official visit scheduled for early June with Perkins, which is a task that Sark and the Longhorns should get on immediately.
