Justice Finkley, DE

The newest key target of the Longhorns 2022 class to this list that fans might still be getting familiar with is the uber-talented four-star 6-foot-2 and 255 pound Hewitt-Trussville strong-side defensive end Justice Finkley. This Trussville, AL, native had a nice surge in the national recruiting spotlight in the last couple of months.

And the Longhorns are actually the most recent program to send an offer Finkley’s way, which arrived back on March 1, 2021. Texas is also one of three schools that currently have official visits lined up with Finkley for the summer. Sark and the Longhorns are set to host Finkley on the Forty Acres on June 25.

The other two official visits lined up for Finkley are with the Colorado Buffaloes on June 11 and Michigan Wolverines on June 18. But between Texas, Michigan, and Colorado, it doesn’t look like Finkley has a clear frontrunner at this point in time.

Those three schools are part of 30 that have sent Finkley an offer as of the evening of April 7. Some of the other notable schools on his offer sheet include the Crimson Tide, Georgia, Auburn Tigers, Florida, Florida State Seminoles, LSU, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oregon Ducks, Stanford Cardinal, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M, and USC Trojans.

Moreover, Finkley ranks as the nation’s No. 130 2022 high school prospect, No. 7 strong-side defensive end, and No. 6 prospect out of Alabama (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 113 high school prospect, No. 6 strong-side defensive end, and No. 7 prospect out of Alabama.
