One of the most underrated commitment flips in the last decade for the Longhorns on the recruiting trail involved getting the highly coveted former four-star wide receiver recruit and Texas City product Armanti Foreman to their 2014 class. Foreman was one of the highest-rated signees in the Longhorns 2014 recruiting class, which former head coaches Mack Brown and Charlie Strong each had a hand in assembling.

The 6-foot and 210 pound Foreman was a key contributor in the receiving corps for the Longhorns over the course of four years through the mid-to-late 2010s. In 34 games played over the course of four seasons with Texas, Foreman registered 1,070 career receiving yards on 86 catches (12.4 yards per catch), good for 11 touchdown catches. Foreman also added 75 rushing yards and one rushing score in his college career.

Foreman did get a shot to make the roster of the Minnesota Vikings following going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. But he didn’t wind up making any NFL rosters to get regular season game action in his career.

Nonetheless, Texas got a lot of value out of the time that Foreman played on the Forty Acres. His brother, and former star running back D’Onta Foreman, both were solid at the skill positions for Strong in the mid-2010s.

Moreover, Foreman ranked as the nation’s No. 111 2014 high school prospect, No. 17 wide receiver, and No. 16 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranked him as the nation’s No. 142 high school prospect, No. 20 wide receiver, and No. 15 prospect out of Texas.
