I really like the potential that Sark and new defensive backs coach Terry Joseph have in the race to land the commitment of the talented four-star West Brook 6-foot and 190-pound safety Bryce Anderson. It is likely that the in-state product Anderson will get his three scheduled official visits done with, and then make an informed commitment decision.

Texas already has some of their own commits in the 2022 class trying to recruit Anderson to join them. And with Anderson set to have a decision date on July 4, 2021, his commitment is something that is highly awaited by Longhorns fans.

Texas is one of three schools that currently have official visits scheduled with Anderson. Sark and the Longhorns are set to host an official visit with Anderson on June 25. The other two schools that currently have official visits scheduled with Anderson are the Alabama Crimson Tide (June 18) and Texas A&M (June 4).

Two other potential frontrunners to watch in the race to land a commitment from Anderson are the USC Trojans and LSU.

It is new safeties coach Blake Gideon and the former Notre Dame Fighting Irish DB’s coach Joseph that are the primary recruiters going after Anderson. And it looks like those two have the Longhorns trending in the right direction with the potent Anderson. Nearly all of the double-digit number of 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions have Anderson committing to Texas.

And the Rivals FutureCast has roughly two-thirds of their analysts and publishers picking the commitment of Anderson to land with Texas over the rest of the field.

Texas already has a top-tier blue-chip safety commit in their 2022 class with the four-star Aledo product Bryan Allen Jr. Getting a star-studded duo between Allen Jr. and Anderson would be truly special in the Longhorns secondary in this 2022 class.
