What seems to be by far the most likely commitment that Sark and the Longhorns could flip at this point of the offseason is the talented four-star Arizona State Sun Devils athlete Larry Turner-Gooden. This California native and Bishop Alemany High School product held his commitment with the Sun Devils since Feb. 26, 2021.

Expect Texas to make one of the biggest pushes among competing schools to flip the commitment of Turner-Gooden throughout the rest of the summer months. And while an official decision could take a bit to come down from Turner-Gooden, he is also one of the highest-rated athletes that Texas could add to their 2022 class with enough effort put in when it’s all said and done.

According to a report from 247Sports this week (paid content), Turner-Gooden was on campus for a visit this week. And it went really well by most accounts, which has to bode well for Sark and the Longhorns heading into the final visit weekend.

Texas and Arizona State are two of nearly three-dozen schools on Turner-Gooden’s lengthy offer sheet. Some of the other notable schools on his offer sheet are Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oklahoma, Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and USC.
