Most of Texas football's winter portal additions from the transfer market over the past month or so have already arrived on campus to compete in spring ball and the winter strength and conditioning program in the weight room in Austin.

Which remaining available portal wide receivers can Texas target in the winter window?

Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian have continued to be very patient in recruiting at key positions of need from the transfer portal early this offseason and since the winter window opened last month.

Remaining transfer portal needs for the Longhorns include the receiving corps, defensive line, and defensive back. There is also a chance that the Longhorns take an experienced receiving tight end from the portal during the spring window in a few months.

On the offensive side of the ball, the receiving corps is really the highlight of the positional needs the Longhorns are going to attack either very late in the winter portal window or during the spring portal in April and May.

Texas lost a few key wide receivers due to exhausted eligibility and early NFL Draft declarations, including junior wide receivers Matthew Golden and Isaiah Bond. Rising junior DeAndre Moore Jr. is the only returning starter with multiple years of experience in the Texas receiver room for 2025.

Here are two transfer wide receivers the Longhorns could target late in this portal cycle, before spring ball begins in a couple of months.
