Dud: Tramon Mark, G
After getting in some early foul trouble, senior guard Tramon Mark saw his minutes limited late in the first half and throughout the game's final 20 minutes in the second. Mark picked up a couple of quick personal fouls in the first half, causing him to play just 19 minutes tonight for the Longhorns.
Because of the early foul trouble and limited playing time tonight, Mark's rhythm was out of sorts on the offensive end of the floor. He struggled to find his shot from every part of the floor, including from the free-throw line, where he shot just 1-of-5.
Mark snapped his streak of scoring in double figures at two games. He registered just five points on 2-of-8 shooting from the field and 0-of-3 from beyond the arc. This was pretty easily Mark's worst shooting night from the field in volume this regular season.
On the glass, Mark made some nice contributions for the Longhorns, as he posted six boards for the third game in a row. Regardless of his scoring production for the Longhorns this season, Mark has given Texas a solid boost on the boards on each end of the floor.
Foul trouble hasn't been a huge issue for Mark otherwise early this season. I don't expect this to be a recurring issue for Mark, so he should be able to bounce back quickly on the offensive end from this off-night performance for the senior scoring guard.
