Defensive line

While Texas shuffles players around on the offensive line, North Texas has its own problems along the defensive line. The Mean Green must replace four starters. This is also a line that can be pushed around. Not a single defensive tackle weighs in at 300 pounds. Senior Alexander Lincoln will anchor the middle of the line, at 275 pounds. The one saving grace for the Mean Green is that while the team must replace four starters, it has experienced players stepping in. Aside from Alexander, four other players saw significant playing time. This is a defensive line that Texas should dominate. A good showing versus North Texas will provide the shot of confidence the young offensive linemen will need going into the BYU game.
