Linebackers

This is the strength of the defense. Ben Heeney and Victor Simmons were tackling machines last year, combining for 121 tackles. The duo were the bright spot on a defense that simply spent too much time on the field. Heeney and Simmons will provide senior leadership at a position that lacks elite talent, but has those three-star grinders every program needs.

Texas lineman should be able to get to the second level of the Kansas defense pretty regularly. This will open up running lanes for Brown and Gray. This is one of those games where a Duke Catalon could own the fourth quarter and make a name for himself.
