4. Which new players should we keep an eye on?
The spring game will be the first chance to see some of the redshirt freshmen, early enrollees, and transfers in action, and several are already turning heads this spring.
As we mentioned earlier, true freshman Connor Williams has stood out on the offensive line and has been working with the first teamers throughout the spring. Fellow true freshmen Garrett Thomas has seen quite a bit of action on the OL as well.
Redshirt freshman defensive back John Bonney has arguably been the most talked about player (outside of the QBs) over the last few weeks, while the Horns’ top recruit, five-star LB Malik Jefferson, has certainly lived up to his hype.
This is a young group that really has the chance to be special. It will be exciting to see how they perform on Saturday.
