Sedrick Flowers, OG

Flowers is another highly-rated lineman who figures to be an integral part of the offense. He started all 13 games last year at left guard. He has had a rather non-descript career at Texas. He was a prep all-American coming out of high school in 2011. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football rated him as the No. 4 offensive lineman.

Flowers stepped into the starting lineup last year and took his lumps like the rest of the line. It was a learning experience that should benefit him this year. Simply put, Flowers is too good of an athlete not to be on this preseason list. If he lives up to his potential he could make the end of season honors. Texas fans would take that.
