Cameron Walker, Corner

Walker is another one of those players who finds himself around the ball a lot. He only has four tackles on the season, but he has registered two sacks and an interception he returned for a touchdown versus Grambling.

Cameron is a three-year contributor so he brings a ton of experience to the Cal secondary. I’m curious who he will line up against on Saturday. Heard targeted Armanti Foreman with several of his throws so don’t be surprised to see Walker draw Foreman.

The real test will be to see if Heard is baited into any bad throws by the savvy veteran. Cal’s secondary is considerably better than Rice’s, so the Texas quarterback is going to have to be careful with the football. Cameron is a sure tackler, so you may see Jay Norvell try to stay away from his side of the field. Whoever lines up across from Walker, it will be interesting to see how well they battle the veteran corner.
