(4) Texas State Bobcats. We’re being a little funny with #4 on the list. Texas has only played Texas State (or Southwest Texas or Southwest Texas State) one time ever.

Texas won 36-0 to begin the 1930 football season. They never played again despite the cities of Austin and San Marcos being so close.

It would be really interesting to see these teams play each other because of the short distance between the schools. But, we know it’s unlikely because Texas State needs to be more nationally relevant to get Texas’ attention in the non-conference.
