(3) Eric Davis or Jacob Young

We picked Eric Davis and Jacob Young for this spot because one of them has to start making three-pointers on a consistent basis.

Whichever one can start knocking down shots from long range should get playing time because Texas needs perimeter shooting to survive and advance this week in the Big 12 Tournament.

Davis has struggled throughout the season, but his one bright spot was a game-winning three against Texas Tech in Austin.

Meanwhile, Jacob Young had a breakout game against Tech in Lubbock last Wednesday when he scored a freshman season-high 14 points with four made threes.

It doesn’t matter who becomes the sharpshooter for Texas this week – they just need someone to start making threes. After shooting terribly from behind the arc during the regular season, the Longhorns need an epic three-point display in Kansas City.
