Statistically speaking, Dylan Haines is one of the all-time leading Texas DBs with 12 career INTs.

But, Haines was not taken seriously after finishing his senior season because he often missed tackles in the open field, was undersized, and was a walk-on.

Haines changed all of those perceptions on Tuesday. Haines showed up to Texas Pro Day looking shredded, quick, and athletic.

Haines ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds, which would have compared well to other Safeties at the 2017 NFL Combine.

He also impressed scouts with a 38 1/2 inch vertical leap. Of course, the question mark remains about his athleticism on the football field.

It’s unlikely that Haines will be drafted in the 2017 Draft, but we expect him to make an NFL roster as an Undrafted Free Agent.
