Stop #4: Tom Herman Swings Sledgehammer

The buzz kept going for Texas Football when Tom Herman showed up to the facility wearing a hard hat and yellow construction jacket.

Herman and the Texas seniors got to tear down the current Texas Football locker rooms. The purpose? To make way for sweet new lockers that will set Texas apart from the rest of college football.

Herman joked in Tuesday’s press conference that he whiffed on his first attempt but “responded to adversity” to finish the job. The ol’ coaching cliches certainly applied in this case of going after an opponent with relentless force, effort, and sledgehammer technique.

We hope that Tom Herman and the Texas players don’t have to tear down anything else anytime soon. But, it was a nice piece of team bonding. And, the new lockers should be in place this summer to help with recruiting. So, a job well done.
