Jarrett Allen – #15 to Portland

Welcome back LaMarcus Aldridge? Jarrett Allen’s game has been compared to former Longhorns big man LaMarcus Aldridge, who was the #2 overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2006 NBA Draft.

A decade later, it makes sense for Portland to look at Jarrett Allen to help them overcome depth issues, especially trying to compete in the Western Conference against the likes of Golden State and San Antonio.

Bleacher Report has Allen to Portland with the #15 pick because the Blazers need a power forward with “length and mobility” that translates to “easy baskets and defensive potential.” Allen certainly checks those boxes. But, will he be available at #15?
