1. Mo Bamba

The Fab Five had Chris Webber. The Longhorns have Mo Bamba. He is that “it factor” player who will be the catalyst for Texas Basketball next season.

It’s a small window for Mo Bamba. He’s expected to be a top pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, so Shaka Smart has to strike in Bamba’s likely one year in Austin.

And, Bamba has all the skills, ability, and talent to make it happen. The elite center from New York will wow Longhorns fans at the Erwin Center and we expect that to lead to a 2018 Final Four appearance at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Yes, we are setting high expectations because this team has the makings of being that good. Mo Bamba signing with Texas is what puts this team over the top. He also has help from the driver of this high-powered Longhorns vehicle.
