3. Jase Febres

Shaka Smart compared Jase Febres to NBA player and former VCU player Troy Daniels. That means shooting the three.

Febres has a certain “it quality” to his game. He’s fearless shooting from the outside and has quickness to get to the paint.

Let’s look at it this year. Last year, Texas lacked a PG. Matt Coleman will make Texas look night and day running the show. Last year, Texas could not make threes and was one of the worst shooting teams in the country. Jase Febres could erase that in one season with A.J. Abrams like shooting ability.

Coleman creates, Bamba finishes on the inside, or Febres finishes on the outside. Pick your poison for opposing defenses.
