Texas Football: Projected 2-deep depth chart for 2018
Special Teams
Kicker: Joshua Rowland
The only kicker that really got a lot of looks during spring camp and the spring football game was rising senior kicker Joshua Rowland. Texas fans had a tough time trusting Rowland last season with his kicking percentage sitting below 62 percent.
However, things could get better for Rowland since that was his first full season with the Horns last year. Kickers can progress pretty quick and Rowland might end up as a solid piece of the special teams for Texas this season.
The loss of legendary punter Michael Dickson means that the kicking game will have to be better for Texas if this program is to see some positive benefit coming from the special teams. An improved kicking game might actually be more valuable than what Dickson brought last season.
Punter: Ryan Bujcevski
No one should expect the cousin of Dickson to step in and immediately do what he was able to last season. However, Texas did reel in one of the best punters in the nation on the recruiting trail with Ryan Bujcevski. He’s got a big leg and can be a great punter once he gets accustomed to the game here.

Dickson was a game changer for the Horns last season, and pretty much won this team the Texas Bowl in his own right. Bujcevski should just be solid this year and Texas fans would be happy with that. The kicking game, on the other hand, needs to get much better this fall.
