The release of Fantasy College Football ran through Yahoo Sports for the 2018 season makes for some sleeper picks from the Texas football program.

A huge announcement for college football fans during the off-season came with the release of Fantasy College Football from Yahoo Sports. The federal ruling for each state to be able to legalize sports gambling at its own risk meant that Yahoo Sports could release something like Fantasy College Football for the 2018 season. Texas football fans can now select their favorite offensive players in Fantasy Football at the college level.

This gives fans something completely new to be excited about and follow for the Longhorns and beyond. Fantasy Football is one of the biggest hits with fans at the NFL level, and this gives the sports betting world a whole new dynamic by carrying this down to the college level too.

Most of the focus for Fantasy College Football in 2018 will fall onto some of the biggest offensive superstars in the nation like Stanford Cardinal running back Bryce Love, Arizona Wildcats quarterback Khalil Tate, and Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver A.J. Brown. Texas doesn’t have many big names on the offensive side of the ball, so you have to dig a bit deeper for this program.

The regular season starts for the Horns on Sep. 1, looking to get some revenge from last season by taking down the Maryland Terrapins. Both Texas and Maryland were able to put up some points in their 2017 season opener, and the same could happen again this year. That would be something to watch for Texas football fans participating in Fantasy College Football for this season.

Here’s a look at which players for the Texas Longhorns you should select for Fantasy College Football in 2018.
