Texas football celebrated 26 seniors Saturday under the lights of DKR. Let’s take a look back at how these men affected the program.

As the Texas football 2018 campaign enters the back end of its season, it marks the end of some player’s college football careers.

Texas football battled the Iowa State Cyclones at home on Nov. 17 in the last game at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in 2018. It marks the 500th game played in Darrell K Royal, but it also is the last home game of the 2018 season, meaning it is senior night for the Texas football program.

The Longhorns will honor 26 players on Saturday night (via TexasSports.com):

OL Austin Allsup, OL Calvin Anderson, TE Andrew Beck, DB Kris Boyd, DB Davante Davis, DB Jarmarquis Durst, TE Chris Fehr, DL Breckyn Hager, WR Jerrod Heard, DS Jak Holbrook, LB Kyle Hrncir, LB Gary Johnson, DB P.J. Locke III, WR Philipp Moeller, DB Chase Moore, DL Chris Nelson, DL Charles Omenihu, DL Edward Pequeno, DS Michael David Poujol, OL Elijah Rodriguez, K Joshua Rowland, LB Cameron Townsend, OL Patrick Vahe, RB Tre Watson, LB Anthony Wheeler and RB Tim Yoder.

Although some of these guys will go on to have professional careers, it is important to stop and honor the blood, sweat, and tears they have put into this Texas football program.

Whether they have been part of the Texas Longhorns for one year or five years, whether they were practice squad players or consistent starters, each one of these guys played a part in helping build this program back up to national prominence.

All 26 seniors are leaving this program better than it was when they first entered it.

Lets take a look at what each player has done in their years on the Forty Acres for Texas football.
