3. Teams combine for more than 150 points

It will be fun to watch the showdown between senior Texas basketball star guard Kerwin Roach II and Jones. Roach II averages just 0.1 points per game less than Jones, and he averages more points per 40 minutes. Both guards are extremely talented volume scorers that are going to light up the scoreboard in this game.

The difficulties for Roach II and Jones will come with the strength of both defenses. Radford owns a top 100 defense in the nation statistically, all while playing a difficult schedule. It ranks in the top 70 in the nation in points per game, at 81.5, and in the top 100 in points allowed, at 67.5. Texas also boasts some good numbers in both respects.

The strength of the opponents the Horns faced in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational watered down its stats for the entire regular season up to this point. Facing the North Carolina Tar Heels and Michigan State Spartans all in the same weekend can have that type of impact. Texas can get its numbers back on track with a big win over another 5-1 team here.
