The Texas basketball program produces NBA talent that wins finals and makes All-Star games. Here is how the 10 current Horns in the NBA have played in 2018.

Though the Texas basketball team has struggled in recent memory, many of their products have gone on to have very successful careers in the NBA.

In the history of Texas basketball, 33 players have had some NBA experience. Of the 33, 25 of these guys were drafted, and 18 of them were first rounders.

Texas basketball produced lottery picks such as LaMarcus Aldridge and Kevin Durant. As a program, Texas basketball put out eight lottery picks.

Teams like the Duke Blue Devils and Kentucky Wildcats always get the praise for being NBA factories, but Texas basketball is right in that mix. The combination of talent and depth that the Texas Longhorns have sent to the NBA is always an added benefit in recruiting. Texas basketball currently has 10 players in the NBA which ranks as seventh most by a university.
