Nearly all of the New Year’s Six Bowls on tap this year are going to be filled with 2019 NFL Draft talent to watch, including the Sugar Bowl.

The 2019 NFL Draft will have a plethora of talent being funneled in from both the Texas football program and the Georgia Bulldogs, as the two teams compete in this year’s edition of the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Texas football comes in with the opportunity to show off its talent on the national stage against an immensely respected team from the SEC.

Meanwhile, Georgia wants to prove once and for all that it was a mistake for the Selection Committee to leave them out of the College Football Playoff field this year. Leaving Georgia out of the Playoff field should’ve seemed like a given, though, considering the fact that it had two losses and didn’t even win its conference.

Georgia fell short against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game to hand the team its second loss of the year to a team from the SEC West. The LSU Tigers also knocked off Georgia this fall. Georgia needs to come out with a strong response for some of its biggest 2019 NFL Draft prospects to prove themselves.

However, the Texas Longhorns have a multitude of players on both sides of the ball that are also clamoring for a solid position in the 2019 NFL Draft. The draft stock of some of the biggest named upperclassmen on the Horns have potentially their final shot at showing out on a big national stage in a New Year’s Six Bowl on Jan. 1.

Here’s a look at the five biggest 2019 NFL Draft prospects to watch from both the Georgia Bulldogs and the Texas Longhorns in the Sugar Bowl.
