Of all the players listed here concerning their 2019 NFL Draft decisions, junior Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray is the only not to have officially announced anything. There are only a few days left, though, before Murray will have to make a decision whether to stick with baseball or go the football route.

However, there is not a single player that can’t stay out of the headlines more concerning the 2019 NFL Draft right now than the last Heisman Trophy winner. Murray was assumed to forego this NFL Draft no matter what and join the baseball team that selected him in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft, Oakland Athletics.

During a College Football Playoff run that saw the Sooners lose one and win one against the Horns, Murray was a very difficult player to stop. Altogether he posted 54 total touchdowns and just seven interceptions for what will go down as one of the most impressive statistical seasons in college football history with a record-breaking Oklahoma offense.

Whether he did decide to go the baseball or football route, there was almost zero chance that Murray returned to head coach Lincoln Riley and the Sooners for his senior campaign. He was set to make a ton of money going either way and looked to be ready for a promising baseball career regardless.
