2. Oregon Ducks

The line of starting quarterbacks for the Oregon Ducks following the departure of superstar rising senior Justin Herbert is anyone’s best guess. Herbert is set to bring Oregon to prominence in the PAC-12 in 2019, at least that’s what’s expected to happen from an early look at the upcoming regular season.

Next year is going to be the Herbert-show on offense for the Ducks. The opportunity for a potential transfer candidate from Texas football like Rising is learning under a top NFL prospect like Herbert and then utilizing that entering his sophomore campaign in 2020.

Going to a program like Oregon is something that rings well with Rising. He was heavily pursued by the Ducks during his recruitment, and its one of the nation’s closer major programs to where Rising hails from, Newbury Park, CA. This has to be an attractive draw since the coach that spearheaded his recruitment is now the head coach for Oregon, Mario Cristobal.

Oregon would really be force to be reckoned with in the PAC-12 North if it had a string of starting quarterbacks that featured Herbert and Rising. And, with the recruiting job that Cristobal did for the 2019 class, the offense is going to have the skill position talent to support Rising if he decides to take his talents to Eugene, OR.
