We’ve discussed what the five-star ultra-talented Flowood, MS, running back Jerrion Ealy brings to the table since his decommitment from the Ole Miss Rebels. This 2019 Texas football recruiting class couldn’t land a more skilled prospect in general at this point in the recruiting cycle than the highly touted Ealy.

Some of the programs that are firmly in the running to land Ealy include the Clemson Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Auburn Tigers. Those schools are just a handful of the more than dozen offers he holds. The Horns are Ole Miss are also still in the running to land the commitment and signed National Letter of Intent when it’s all said and done for Ealy’s recruitment.

Ealy is rated as the nation’s No. 30 2019 high school prospect and the third best running back overall. He has elite speed and agility and is a very fun offensive player to watch. Unlike the Horns did in pursuit of four-star running backs Noah Cain (Penn State signee) and Deondrick Glass (Oklahoma State commit), it should try as hard as possible to sway the interest of Ealy late in this recruiting cycle.
